Custom Service Plans
With formal education, professional techniques and over 18 years in the industry, Blue Marlin Aquatic Creations believes in providing our customers with the highest level of professional care. The following service plans have been crafted with years of experience and can be custom tailored to each individual system.
Level I Plan
The Level I Plan provides a basic care program for those individuals who may wish to have some hands-on control of the care of their system. The Level I program provides our customers with a once a month maintenance program. Each visit would incorporate the following items:
• Testing of basic water parameters such as Temperature, Salinity, pH, Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate;
• Cleaning of skimmers, glass surfaces, overflow boxes, filter pads;
• 1/3 water change;
• Cleaning of substrate;
• Visual Inspection of fish health;
• Treatment of fish diseases.
*Under most circumstances, implementation of Level I would require approximately 1-2 hours per visit.
Level II Plan
The Level II Plan provides a more comprehensive care program for those individuals who wish to have a hands-off approach but can provide some of the routine care of their system. The Level II program provides our customer with a twice a month maintenance program, with each visit incorporating all of items listed above under Level I plus the following:
• Trimming of aquatic plants;
• Scrubbing of excessive algae growth on decorations;
• Replacement of filter pads, skimmer baskets, and other items due to normal wear and tear.
*Under most circumstances, implementation of Level II would require approximately 1-3 hours per visit.
Level III Plan
The Level III Plan provides a complete care program for those individuals who may travel or are otherwise not able to care for their system. The Level III program provides our customer with a weekly maintenance program, with each visit incorporating all of items listed above under Level I and Level II, plus the following:
• Cleaning of UV Sterilizer and replacement of bulbs on a six month interval;
• Restocking of food (as needed);
• Manual scraping of mucous membranes for inspection of parasites under microscope(as needed);
*Under most circumstances, implementation of Level III would require approximately 2-3 hours per visit.
A La Carte Plan
The A la Carte Plan allows the customer to order the various services offered by Blue Marlin Aquatic Creations as needed. All services discussed above, along with equipment and materials would be billed separately.
Emergency Service
Blue Marlin Aquatic Creations offers a 24 hours a day/ seven days a week 24 hour emergency service. If your pumps fail, or your fish contract a bacterial or parasitic infection, Blue Marlin Aquatic Creations can be at your door, usually within an hour or two. Emergency visits are billed at $75 for the service call, plus $75 an hour for the first hour and $50 an hour for every hour after that. Emergency visits taking place on Sundays are billed at $150 for the service call, plus $75 an hour for the first hour and $75 an hour for every hour after that.
